Our 140 stretch Excursion limousine was built to our specification by Coastal Limousine builders in USA and first registered in September 2006. This stunning stretch 4x4 style limousine was built for us with UK conformity in mind. During 2006 the limousine industry was informed by VOSA that licensing was necessary and that in order to carry more than 8 passengers vehicles would need to meet UK Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) safety standards . This meant that extensive work would be needed to prove conformity of any non European vehicle. A company in Southampton chose the Excursion limousine as being the most compliant limousine to adapt that would meet the UK PCV Standards. It took this company nearly 2 years of research, development and investment, working closely with VOSA engineers to make the necessary changes that enabled the Ford Excursion to obtain the Certificate Of Initial Fitness (COIF). Knowing that licensing was to be enforced on the limousine industry in October 1st 2009 our stretch 4x4 Excursion was submitted for the UK COIF conversion and has been licensed to carry 14 passengers since December 4th 2008.

The stretch Excursion limousine is a versatile limousine that has been tested over the years with every type of booking imaginable. Its strength is in the number of people it can legally carry and is equally popular when taking people to London for a show or meal or off nightclubbing with a group for Hen night limo hire or a Birthday Party. Its seating design allows people to sit along one side with the bar on the other like a conventional stretch limousine but has additional seating for 3 to 4 passengers in what we call the VIP area. In this part of the limousine there is access to a Playstation 2 on which we have a Singstar karaoke game. This is popular feature with most passengers. It is a game and if your singing is bad it tells you during the game and at the end when it scores you.

The 4x4 Excursion limo provides all the usual gadgets you expect in a limousine from Air Conditioning to mood lighting. We want you to enjoy your trip in the limousine from the moment we arrive to the time we drop you off and because of this you control everything from the radio station, CD or ipod track to the temperature in the limousine. We will run through what everything does before we depart then you get to play in the back.
